"I am a Certified Meditation Teacher through the Temple of Kriya Yoga in Chicago. I have practiced many forms of yoga since 1995. Drawn to what I call "fitness yoga" in the beginning, I developed a deeper understanding of the full benefits of yogic practices only after I developed chronic painful health issues. Since then my life has become much more joy-filled as my traditional yoga practice assists me through the day. It means the world to me to be able to share these life changing techniques with others. Sandy has been teaching Kriya yoga meditation for over 13 years. Her private sessions are focused on your individual needs. She studies the teachings of the Holy Kriya Lineage as well as many ancient and modern texts pertaining to all aspects of spirituality, yoga, health, and nutrition. These include books written by Paramhansa Yogananda and Goswami Kriyananda. The anatomy and physiology of meditation is a key area of her studies.
